Regginald
In June 2015, Variety NT approved a grant of $4612 towards a Leckey’s Squiggles Seating System for Reggie. DEP contributed the remaining $3000. The Squiggles seating system provides the level of support Reggie requires to meet his postural, developmental and social needs. His is able to interact and engage with his family. It is his primary means of seating and uses the chair for feeding as well as play skills and hand development, He is now able to mobilise outdoors using this Squiggles.
Sharni
Mel, Jimmy and Kate from the Variety NT office were able to see a recently gifted Miniwalk gait trainer in action recently. With the aid of the Miniwalk, the lovely, inquisitive Sharni will be able to further explore her indoor and outdoor environments and next year, take her Miniwalk to school. Variety NT are thrilled to be able to support Sharni and her family.
