Families or carers of children aged 0–17 years living in the Northern Territory who are experiencing disability, chronic illness or disadvantage may be eligible.

Individual Grants can support a range of equipment including wheelchairs, adaptive bikes, specialised car seats, walking aids, sensory equipment, IT equipment and other items that improve a child's independence and inclusion.

Please contact our team. We’re here to help guide you through the process.

Variety generally cannot fund items already purchased, travel expenses, warranties, insurance, maintenance costs, non-adaptive sports equipment, structural works or requests that are not directly related to the child's needs.

You can still apply. You'll need to explain why the requested item isn't covered by your NDIS plan and provide supporting documentation where applicable.
